Kinap Athletic Club

The Kinap Athletic Club is a non-profit corporation managed by volunteers, the primary focus of the Club is sprint racing (canoe and kayak). We also offer recreational paddling programs and provide an on-site day camp.

Kinap Day Camp is a wonderful place to spend the summer. Children in the day camp enjoy the wonders of a summer vacation, playing on the beach, boating, doing crafts, reading, begin with their friends, and creating lasting friendships.
Registration: May 25th (Sun) 1:00 - 3:00pm
Child-Day Camp Counsellor Ratio (10 - 1)
Ages 5 to 12 Years
During open boating, the day campers are invited to take out kayaks and paddle around the cover, under the supervision of a paddling coach, Day campers may also register for swimming lessons through HRM.
Staff - Up to date First Aid
On site Canteen - Nutritious Snacks available
Day Camp - Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) July 2nd - August 31st
